Meet Pamela
I have been providing therapeutic massage since 2003. Specializing in pain relief of the neck and back. I also provide therapeutic massage for injury recovery, pregnancy massage, cancer/oncology massage, and wellness/relaxation massage.
My massage is the use of multiple massage techniques together to give both a therapeutic and relaxing massage, that best suits each individuals needs. I am certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and also trained and certified in NeuroMuscular Therapy, basic Fascial Release, Pregnancy massage, Cancer/Onocology massage, Clinical/Rehabilitative massage, and Chair massage, and Pediatric Massage.

Education History
Pamela completed and received her 600 hours massage therapy diploma at Minnesota School of Business in Richfield, MN in 2003. To earn her certificate, Pamela completed a 90 hour massage internship at River Valley Family Chiropractic in Belle Plaine, MN. As a Board Certified Massage and Bodywork Therapist, through the NCBTMB, a minimum number of continuing education hours must be completed yearly to maintain certification. July 2003 Pamela joined Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) and joined American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) in August 2011. In January 2006 Pamela took a continuing education course and was certified in prenatal/pregnancy massage. She became certified in chair massage and advance deep tissue in August 2009. Pamela received advanced training in cancer/oncology massage in January 2011. She then completed a 21 hour clinical rotation at cancer treatment centers located at Regions Hospital and Minnesota Oncology. In August 2012 Pamela completed a hands-on certification in advanced massage techniques for pregnancy, labor, and post-partum. Pamela completed an advanced clinical training course in Neuromuscular Therapy and basic Fascial Release techniques in April 2013. August 2013 Pamela completed her AAS (Associated of Applied Science) Degree in Massage Therapy from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. During her coursework she completed an internship with the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. |
Work History
Pamela has been located in the Arlington Chiropractic Clinic building since February 2009. Pamela offers therapeutic massage to a variety of individuals with a variety of pain. From motor vehicle accident injuries, to headaches and migraines, to constant neck and back pain, to fibromyalgia. Conforming each massage to meet the needs of that client, helping alleviate their pain and calm their mind through healing, holistic touch. Pamela provided therapeutic massage as part of the Integrative Medicine at Prairie Care in Chaska and Edina, MN from March 2016-November 2017. Here she provided massage therapy to complement mental health treatment in pediatrics and TMS/depression. Pamela also rented space at Belle Plaine Chiropractic from May 2004- January 2015. From December 2005-January 2011 she was an independent contractor for Lake Region Medical in Chaska, MN. There she provided 15 minute production chair massage to Lake Region's employees. Pamela also worked at Gail's Shear Magic in Glencoe, MN from August 2003-July 2010 . Here she provided massage in a spa setting. |
